Demonic sex-maniac > neutered wimp

I have a Tumblr account.

I'm not sure how it happened as I've been restraining myself from getting an account for months (with the old arguments of "no, you don't need somewhere else to waste your life away" and "it's just a new source of unwanted spoilers"). And yet, Sunday morning, still half-sleep drinking my coffee in front of my laptop, and BAM, account created. It has made me start tinkering again in Photoshop , though I'm still not sure if that's a good or a bad thing . We'll see.

TV shows! They are back!! Super brief comments on almost everything:

- The Good Wife was amazing. There's not a single character that's not perfection right now. I adored Kalinda & Will's scene, and Will and Alicia in the elevator was the hottest thing I've seen on TV probably since Farscape.

- Community. I enjoyed the second episode more than the first one (with the exception of Inspector Spacetime). I did not get (nor care much, tbh) what they were trying to do with Jeff/Annie, but Britta&Chang cracked me up. And it had been a long time since I had enjoyed one of the Britta's storylines.

- Doctow Who. Alex Kingston has to be one of the best things that has happened to this show. Plot-wise, I'm not that impressed. Half of the time I feel like they are pulling things out of their asses. Still enjoy it though.

- Castle and The Big Bang Theory were their usual selves. How I Met Your Mother cracked me up; Lily vs. Barney usually brings the funny, although I'm not a fan of that last twist at the end. It feels like we've going through that So. Many. Times.

- Lost Girl has become surprisingly less sucky, almost regularly entertaining, in part thanks to how awesome Bo&Kenzi are together. Yay for BFFery. I still dislike Dyson A LOT. There's something about his face I really don't like. It's weird.

- I'm watching Up All Night. It feels a bit like a waste of Maya Rudolph, but I'm giving it time. The fact that it has Will Arnett playing someone normal and interacting regularly with a baby doesn't hurt. Also, his voice. GUH. And I've always liked Christina Applegate.

- Park and Recreation keeps being glorious. Every. Single. Week. More so when it has Amazing guest stars.

- Modern Family. I still think it's quite overrated. Plus it's starting to bug me how Cam&Mitchell's storylines seem to always be the same: something happens where they don't tell each other the truth, one or both tell their actual opinion to the camera, shit hits the fan, they argue, and then they make up. Not that I care that much, but, you know. It's a general feeling I have with this show.

- The Olivia Show Fringe. FEELINGS. I *adore* every single interaction between Olivia and Altivia. All the awards for Anna Torv, etc. (also, special mention for managing to have UST with herself) I liked that in this universe Olivia&Astrid seem to be closer. I like that Alt!Broyles is not dead and I think Alt!Lincoln and Altivia are ADORABLE together. To be honest, I don't miss Peter all that much. I've also liked how they are introducing what's different.

- I've also finally caught up with Downton Abbey. SO. MANY. OTPS.
I want Anna to be my BFF and for her and Bates to be as happy as humanly possible. There's something about how clear she's about her feelings without being a drama queen that I really, really like. Mary/Matthew and their epic angst. If there's something I like in an OTP is Teh Angst. I don't understand when or how he became cute because I distinctly remember thinking at the beginning how goofy he looked. And of course, Carson/Telephone.
The second season has felt quite rushed, but I really don't think anyone is watching for the plot. It cracks me up how they go on and on about the war and yet everyone in it seem to have an awful lot of leave time to go to parties in the country and such.

tl;dr ---> Watch The Good Wife and Parks and Recreation

And while I wait for DA's download, here's a video of nuns learning self-defense (spoiler alert: they use rosaries as defense tools and crucifixes to ~finish their enemies)
